Pattern Blocks and Granite Surfaces for Reference
Mitutoyo Gauge Blocks
Mitutoyo gauge blocks are manufactured in 3 types for use as length gauges: rectangular steel, rectangular ceramic (CERA block), and square steel block. This block has a very advanced technique in its manufacture, which allows the flatness and surface finish necessary for the gauge blocks to be achieved to increase their adhesion strength, allowing 2 gauge blocks to be joined together to combine lengths. Steel gauge blocks are manufactured with materials that help us achieve high abrasion resistance and dimensional stability.
The WAX BLOCK
Made of ceramic material, with superior surface finish, with competitive advantages; Corrosion resistance, no burrs caused by mishandling, more abrasion resistance than steel blocks, dimensional stability, clearly marked sizes, non-magnetic nature prevents burr contamination.
Pattern blocks
They are available in sets of blocks of different pieces from 10 to 122 pieces, with different graduations and sizes, in both steel and ceramic materials. They are also available individually.
Granite surfaces
For reference, they offer greater stability compared to cast iron tables, since granite is harder, and provides us with a surface free of adhesion, burrs, a long life free of rust, and has very good dimensional stability.
Within the reference standards segment we can also find stainless steel scales (rulers) with high accuracy and different dimension scales, as well as thickness shims and radius gages, ideal for performing floor checks and metrology laboratories.
