Mitutoyo Durometers
Mitutoyo Hardness Testers allow hardness tests to be carried out in different standards and scales, mainly in Rockwell, Vicker and Microvickers.
Rockwell HR Hardness Testers
The Rockwell HR Hardness Testers are ideal and the most versatile because they allow us to do hardness tests very easily and quickly. Through their preload mechanism, measurements can be made on different Rockwell scales (HRB and HRC). In these models we have the most basic and manual version where the reading is through a watch face, where the user is in charge of performing the preload and adjustment to perform the measurement, and there are motorized equipment that allows us to perform tests automatically. with the push of a button.
When it is necessary to carry out measurements on the production line because our part cannot be taken to the laboratory or exceeds the capacity dimensions of bench durometers, there is Hardamatic H411, a portable impact type durometer, which allows measurements to be made in the field, on parts. such as very large molds, in welding of some structure among others.
Vickers and Microvickers hardness studies
Vicker and Microvickers hardness studies are also possible with Mitutoyo equipment, since specialized equipment has been manufactured in these scales with which they are integrated with a high-quality optical lens to be able to carry out the measurements and these equipment allow us to exchange up to 6 objectives with different graduations.
If your need is to measure large and heavy pieces where the previous durometers cannot place your piece, the HR600 model is ideal for carrying out these measurements, thanks to its moving heads, its motorized table, a table with dimensions of 160 x 300 and a load maximum of 100 kg, it even allows us to carry out measurements in a production line coordinated with robots, allowing the parts to be placed in a very easy way. Some examples of parts that can be placed are engine blocks and crankshafts, this durometer can even make measurements of plastic parts.
If the need is to measure the hardness of plastics, rubbers and/or foams, Mitutoyo has portable analog and/or digital durometers to measure these materials on Shore A, Shore D and Shore E scales.
