GALVANNEAL is cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel coated with another metal (zinc + iron). This steel is coated on both sides with a zinc-iron alloy through a hot-dip process. The iron content in the coating is approximately 10%, which significantly improves weldability and provides excellent paint adhesion. It is used in applications where precise control over the aesthetic finish of components is required. It is used for steel products that need to be painted, such as doors and door frames. It is also used in the automotive and construction industries due to its low-maintenance properties.
