Special Coatings are cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel, coated with a metal alloy composed of zinc, aluminum and magnesium on both sides through the hot-dip process. This process creates a strong bond between the base steel and the coating.
The combination of zinc with aluminum and magnesium produces a material with better formability and greater protection against corrosion compared to conventional galvanizing (zinc). This material is available oiled, chromated, with Cr+3 passivator and with Cr-Free passivator.
