It has high hot strength and resistance to thermal fatigue, with very good toughness; susceptible to receiving water cooling during operation. Ideal in extrusion processes of non-ferrous alloys, for example, mandrels for extrusion of copper tube and its alloys, as well as its components (dummy blocks, liners, etc.); likewise, it performs well in die casting mold components for aluminum alloys.
