Ladder mesh is used for reinforcement in building, made by an electro-welding process, consisting of two longitudinal rods joined together by transverse rods. The ladder mesh gets its name from its ladder-shaped structure.

It is used between walls as horizontal reinforcement, preventing cracking in masonry walls.
