It corresponds to a natural polyamide 6/12 without additives, commonly known as Natural or Mechanical Nylon. It combines good mechanical resistance, rigidity and hardness, with good resistance to wear; approved to work in contact with food (NMX-E-202-1993-SCFI).

Its natural color is yellowish white or called off-white.
