Serviacero is the most comprehensive group in integral steel solutions in the country. We manufacture, process, and market the widest range of steel products on the market. Comercial y Aceros de León is founded, a Company dedicated to supplying the needs of the construction industry.

Metales y Acero emerges as a supplier of special steel for the fabrication of machinery and tools used in parallel, in the footwear and food industries.

Metales y Acero (Formerly Aceros y Metales Finos) starts operations in San Luis Potosí.

Serviacero de León is born, supplying sheet metal, cut and formed to size.

Metales y Aceros in the city of Guadalajara and in Querétaro start operations.

Comercial y Aceros de León opens its first service center outside of León, right in the city of Querétaro.

In order to back up the steel industry in an integral way, these three companies create a joint-venture under the same name, Serviacero.

Serviacero Comercial opens its new Service Center in Celaya, Guanajuato.

We celebrate our 40th anniversary, a milestone in the business, consolidating the largest line of steel products in the country.

Serviacero Planos establishes a joint venture with Worthington Industries, thus creating Serviacero-Worthington, placing them as one of the main steel suppliers  in Mexico.

In July, Serviacero Worthington, celebrates the grand opening of its third plant in the city of Monterrey.

Serviacero Tubulares starts operations. Steelpac de Mexico S.A. de C.V. starts operations making racks for the automotive industy.

Serviacero Worthington starts operations of their slitter #5 in the Monterrey plant.

Serviacero Comercial adds to its new slitting line, being able to perform up to 31 simultaneous cuts in our very own Distribution Center.
