Characteristics

Steel coated on both sides with a thin layer of tin through an electrolytic process, forming a thin layer of tin which reduces friction between the die and the base steel, achieving excellent formability. It is used in the manufacture of oil filters and in the food industry for packaging. Tin-plated materials offer excellent formability, weldability, and paint adhesion.
