Low Carbon Steel (hot rolled)

Hot rolled steel is the primary product in the steel-making process, it's produced at a very high temperature (1,100° C approx.) by a thermomechanical process where the thickness of the material is reduced by passing it through rolling stands, starting from either integrated or slab mill the mini-mill process. This material is mainly used in the construction industry and heavy machinery.

Features
It’s a low carbon steel which chemical and mechanical properties are ideal for light punching (HRO, HR1/CS), mid punching (HR2/DS) and deep punching (HR3).

Norms
We have a large grade diversity which meet international norm requirements such as ASTM, SAE, EN, NES, etcetera, as well as automotive norms: GMW, FORD, CHRYSLER, and etc.
